今朝CDCはハワイの3例を新型インフルエンザと確認した。
いずれもオアフ島在住者。2人の成人は夫婦で、そのうち1人はテキサス方面へ、別の就学年齢の子供はカリフォルニアへ旅行していた。
CDC confirms swine flu in three Oahu residents
The Center for Disease Control & Prevention has confirmed three cases of swine flu in Hawaii, state health officials announced this morning.
The three cases were all Oahu residents — two adults, one with recent travel to Texas and the other becoming ill after exposure to their spouse; and the third separate case is a school-aged child with recent travel to California.

3人は症状が軽く、回復に向かっているそうだ。
地元のTVや新聞は過敏な報道をすることがなく、平常どおりのトーンで新型インフルエンザのニュースを扱っている。
なのでウチのオフィスでもあんまり話題になってないんだな。
でも休暇でメインランドに行っていた秘書が、戻ってきた挨拶で私にハグする時には失礼ながらちょっと躊躇してしまった。
